Sturdy Memorial Hospital is a locally controlled, financially stable, not-for-profit acute-care community hospital dedicated to providing a wide range of health care services to area residents. Sturdy Memorial is licensed for 128 surgical/medical beds and 21 bassinets. Services include, but are not limited to: Cardiac Care and Rehabilitation, a 24-hour Emergency Care Center, Laboratory Services, Maternity Services, Multiple Sclerosis Center, Nutritional assessment and counseling, Occupational Health Service, Orthopedics, a Pain Clinic, Physical Therapy, Pulmonary Rehabilitation and Respiratory Care, Stroke Services, Surgery, and Wound Management Services. Sturdy also offers a comprehensive Cancer Care Program that gives patients access to national clinical trials, chemotherapy, infusion therapy, surgical oncology, and state-of-the-art radiation oncology.
