DESCRIPTION:As a business leader in the Neponset Valley region\, we invite you to provide your input to MassDOT on workforce transportation needs at a forum on Tuesday\, June 4 from 9   11 a.m. at the Endicott Estate\, Dedham.  (Additional details attached and download here to RSVP on Eventbrite.)\n\n \n\nMassDOT wants to hear directly from the employment sector and regional leaders as they formulate a new annual $1.5 Million competitive grant program to increase workforce transportation options.  We hope you will join us and participate in this opportunity to share your workforce transit priorities\, concerns\, and ideas with MassDOT's Rail and Transit Administrator\, Astrid Glynn\, and also learn about the benefits of the MBTA's Perq program for employers and employees.  \n\n \n\nMassDOT is currently holding a series of listening sessions across the state to hear from businesses   in particular\, they want to talk about a new $1.5 million grant program that is being developed (Workforce Transit Grants). It will be important to show MassDOT through good attendance of influential businesses leaders that the state should continue to invest in public/private partnerships around transportation. I encourage you to attend or send representatives to show support and share any ideas you have.
