Life of the Mardi... Save your Seat! You are invited to attend our biggest fundraiser of the year “The Mardi Gras Masquerade Gala” for We Do Care Grief and Loss Inc. We have chosen to honor local real estate extraordinaire & Easton Chamber of Commerce President Isobel Wilson of Bella Real Estate as our Caring Heart award recipient of 2021 at this event. Isobel has been a silent partner behind the scenes. Her compassion and care has helped many of our members on their journey. A COVID Safe Event: • We are selling the seats to keep it at 50% capacity. • The tables will hold 8 people and be spaced apart in the spacious ballroom. • Our team chose a venue that prides themselves in cleanliness, safety during the pandemic, delicious food and fun. • Face masks are required except when eating & drinking. The organization was started By Julie Brennan in 2012 to provide bereavement support for young widows and children who lost a father or mother. Eighty percent of our members are children who lost their father. We Do Care is currently serving 85 local MA families through support groups, social meet ups, annual events, and care packages. Our mission is to create widow “Warriors” by empowering our members to be financially independent, mentally and emotionally stable, and physically strong. We also strive to get to know community businesses and leaders so that we can connect our members to as many helpful resources as possible.
