Unlike adjusters who work for the insurance companies, public adjusters work exclusively on the behalf of the insured-homeowners, business owners, or commercial property managers-to help the receive the maximum entitled pay out under their insurance policy.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluating property damage: Inspecting and documenting damage to property caused by fire, water, storms, or other insured events.
Preparing and filing claims: Compiling detailed reports and estimates to support the claim and submitting to the insurer.
Negotiation with insurers: Acting as an intermediary with the insurance company's adjuster to settle claims fairly and efficiently.
